September 12th, Little Bear rehabilitation

Help us in putting back one of the best trails in Flagstaff! Not only do we have two volunteer events scheduled this fall to work on Little Bear Trail, but we have hired American Conservation Experience (ACE) with $10,000 from a grant and events put on by the Mountain Bike Association of Arizona (MBAA) to help realign one of the most problematic spots on the trail. Additionally, the Flagstaff Ranger District has obtained another $30,000 grant to keep ACE on to hopefully complete the project!

Directions: Drive north on Highway 89. About a half mile past Silver Saddle Road, turn left on Elden Springs Road. We will be meeting a few of miles in, past both the Horse Camp Road and Little Elden Trail Head. Look for signs.
