June 1st, National Trails Day, Kelly multi-use Trails Project Join the entire Flagstaff trails community in the annual celebration of trails! This year we will be working on the Kelly Multi-use Trails project. This trail system will include 52 miles of single track trail between Lake Mary Road and Munds Park when completed that will be open to motorcycles, mountain bikes, equestrians and hikers. National Trails Day, Saturday June 2nd!

Join Flagstaff Biking Organization, the US Forest Service, Coconino County and friends for 2012 National Trails Day! This year we will be working on the Flagstaff Loop Trail and hopefully completing a vital connection between Woody Mountain Road and Ft. Tuthill. June 4th, National Trails Day, Arizona Trail

Flagstaff’s 2011 National Trails Day on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 from 8:00am-3:00pm. This event is on the Arizona Trail, a National Scenic Trail, to continue to “Close the Gap”! We encourage all trail users of all ages and abilities to attend this annual celebration of trails! There will be work projects for everyone, regardless of strength or stamina. This is one of the last events on the “Close the Gap”

June 5th, National Trails Day, Arizona Trail in the Schultz Pass area

Flagstaff’s 2010 National Trails Day on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 from 7:30am-3:00pm. This event is on the Arizona Trail, a National Scenic Trail, to continue to “Close the Gap”! Please carpool as there is limited parking & arrive at Schultz Pass early to: 1. 7:00-8:00am – Registration 2. 8:00am-8:30am – Welcome, Dale Shewalter memorial, & safety talk 3. 8:30am-12:30pm – Break into groups and work on the trail – Yippee!!

National Trails Day this June 6th!

About 180 gracious folks joined us June 6th to construct the Flagstaff Loop Trail.. almost a mile…most of Segment 55, Observatory Mesa to Cheshire! This annual celebration of trails is the biggest event of the year. We had fine weather, great turnout, beautiful trail was built and a great lunch to polish it off! June 7th National Trails Day, Ft. Tuthill to Kachina trail

National Trail Day was an outstanding success. Around 200 enthusiastic volunteers turned out from every user group… we had mt bikers, hikers, dirt bikers and horse riders. Check out images here.
