We have three more volunteer trail work events this year, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As a mountain biker, you have certainly noticed the great progress made his past couple of years on completing sections of the Arizona Trail, Flagstaff Loop Trail and Ft. Valley Trail system.
A significant part of this work has been done by volunteers! Thanks to any of you who have helped!
We are hoping to get some big pieces of work completed in the next 6 weeks, but to do this, we will need lots of help…lots of you!
Please make an effort to attend one of the three following events…stay tuned here for details:
September 10th, Flagstaff Loop Trail Construction in the Fisher Point Area. By early next year, the connection from the Lake Mary Road/John Wesley Powell Blvd. area to Campbell Mesa should be complete, affording options to make loops using the Arizona Trail and other trails in this area...if you help get this done!
September 17th, Pedals v Pistons v Horseshoes v Hiking Boots. We will be doing some much needed maintenance on lower Moto Trail with folks from the Coconino Trail Riders, Coconino Horsemens Alliance and others. There is no better way to foster better relationships between trail users than to work side-by-side maintaining trails we all love. Help Flagstaff Biking Organization get the trophy back from the Coconino Trail Riders!
October 8th, Flagstaff Loop Trail on Observatory Mesa. With your help, we can get this section completed on this day, thereby providing connectivity for the Flagstaff Loop Trail from the Cheshire area to the top of Observatory Mesa and the Flagstaff Urban Trail.
