Saturday, November 6th, Flagstaff Loop Trail new construction, YX Ranch Road near JW Powell/Lake Mary Road
As many of you may have noticed, we have been plugging away at the Flagstaff Loop Trail construction in this area for the past couple of years, and we recently connected this awesome new trail to the Fisher Point Trail. YOU can help us keep building toward these segments’ eventual connection to the Campbell Mesa Trails (and beyond!) by coming out this Saturday and moving a little dirt!
We will stage on YX Ranch Rd. On the north-bound side of John Wesley Powell Blvd. at Lake Mary Road, turn right on to Yx Ranch Road. Follow the YX Ranch Road for less than 1 mile to the marked staging area.
All Trail events start at 8:30 am and conclude with lunch at 1:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Coffee will be served between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, and snacks, beverages, tasty lunch and FUN are all provided. Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, sunscreen, water, and head protection are required. Hardhats, gloves, tools, and trail work instructions will be provided. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
