Whether you or a child you know wants to ride to school, to a trail, or on a trail, Flagstaff Biking Organization wants every child’s biking experience to be safer, more fun, and part of a positive community and lifetime experience. We have just the program to keep kids healthy and happy.
Safe Kids Coconino County
Safe Kids Coconino County (SKCC) is our local coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide; who is dedicated to preventing injuries in children, the number one killer of kids in the United States. SKCC focuses their interests in bicycle and pedestrian safety, motor vehicle safety and seasonal play (ATV/snow play). SKCC helps to organize International Walk to School Day, FUTS trail clean ups, Car Seat safety check up events, and car seat recycle events. Specifically in the area of bicycle education, SKCC helps to host bicycle rodeos and bike to work/school week events. SKCC also promotes bicycle helmet use by partnering with FBO to provide discounted helmets from Bell Helmets.
