We had a great turnout for this event to complete the singletrack bridging Pine Dells to Kachina Wetlands. (See the trails!). About 35 folks turned out and we completed the connection to the power-line trail. GREAT JOB PEOPLE! We had some intermittent cloud cover, the spicy smell of the night’s rain on grasses, lots of flowers, and the storm waited until after lunch to let loose… just in time to interrupt the Youth Mt Bike Program’s testing of our new trail. Nevertheless, testing was completed on the brand new and newly wetted trail…excellent conditions except for a little of the devil’s clay on one of the wetland’s trails. (think of the entrance to Oldham trails…). Go to the Images page for photos of the days work and the following trail ride.

Thanks to all the participants! Great Job Folks!

Thanks also to Kahtoola sponsors, John Tingerthal coordinator, Biff’s Bagel’s for sandwiches, and of course, the hard workers at FBO… Anthony, Jack, Neil, and Susan.
