Monday morning’s Kick-Off Commuter Ride was a huge success with over 200 cyclists showing up to support cycling in Flagstaff. Mayor Joe Donaldson led the parade with Kevin Burke, Flagstaff City Manager, and Martin Ince, Flagstaff’s Multi-Modal Planner. After the parade Jack Welch was awarded the FBO 2008 Bicycle Advocacy Award and was also presented a bicycle as a token of his SuperHero Powers of Cycling Goodness! Way to go Jack!

Flagstaff’s great spring weather hasn’t detered many of you… we’ve had about 150 login’s today already… Keep it up. This picture of Tom Sabol, USGS Bldg 4, was submitted by N. Voichick. I don’t care how much snow Tom’s standing in, he looks HOT!
