June 17th, Sunset Trail and Catwalk Maintenance

We will be working with the Flagstaff Ranger District to improve drainage and reestablish tread along the Catwalk section of Sunset Trail, one of Flagstaff’s favorite trails! We may also be doing some staging work for the Trail Fairies crew to continue their work on the Hobbit Forest section of Sunset Trail.

Directions: From downtown Flagstaff, head north on Fort Valley Road/ Highway 180. Just past the Museum of Northern Arizona, turn right on Schultz Pass Road. Stay right at the “Y” to continue on Elden Lookout Road. Continue up the dirt road, (high clearance recommended), to near the top of Mount Elden. Look for signs. Given limited parking, please try to carpool to this event.
