Doney Park Multi-Modal Plan Open House

Inaugural Barn Burner Race Coming to Flagstaff

The inaugural Flagstaff Barn Burner Endurance Mountain Bike Event June 20th and 21st! Floyd Landis rides with Flagstaff

Pro Cyclist legend, Floyd Landis, led a ride to raise awareness for joint health on Saturday, October 4th on Lake Mary Road.  The ride was presented by Smith and Nephew, an orthopedic prosthesis company, and benefited local cycling advocacy organization, Flagstaff Biking Organization.  Over 30 individuals came to join the ride.  Floyd Landis helped Lance Armstrong win the 2002 Tour de France. Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day-October 5th

Flagstaff Biking Organization is pleased to parter with IMBA, Clif Bar and Trips for Kids to head up Flagstaff’s Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day. Our ride will be Sunday, October 5th. Meet at Schultz Creek Trailhead at 10am to meet and greet. We’ll leave for the ride at 10:30am. Please bring enough water for a two hour ride and check the weather the night before to bring appropriate clothing.

More Marked Lanes For Cyclists On West Route 66

Through collaboration between ADOT and the City of Flagstaff, repaving of Route 66 now includes marked lanes for biking along Route 66 and Milton from Flagstaff Ranch Road (near Woody Mt) to Switzer Canyon. Giro de Luna 2008

We had a fantastic group and a beautiful night for this year’s Giro de Luna. Led by Jack Welch and Martin Ince, more than 25 riders of all ages rode the urban trail and through quiet neighborhoods by the light of the full moon and a handful of headlamps.
