There are year-round formal and informal opportunities for mountain and road bike riding in Flagstaff. The following is a list of regular (or semi-regular) group rides, races, annual events or clubs in the Flagstaff area. Please contact the ride leader to confirm ride schedules and meeting places for more details.

The Scalaways (once known as the Coconino Cycling Club) is a non fee e-mail based group of
casual, fun loving cyclists. They are a “No Whimper – No Whine” group of pedalers that don’t leave
folks behind.

Road Rides
Community Rides from Pay-N-Take
Saturday 10:00AM – Lake Mary Road Ride
Meet at Pay N’ Take for a fun 65 mile (plus or minus) ride. Route is out on Lake Mary Road and around Mormon Lake. Stops happen at the mailboxes on Lake Mary Road, at the turnoff to Mormon Lake, and at the Mormon Lake Lodge. Fast pace but lots of ability levels. Women’s only group takes off at 9:30 a.m. from the mailboxes on Lake Mary Road.

Thursday Snowbowl Hill Climb in THE SUMMER
5:00PM – Snowbowl Hill Climb
Meet at Pay N’ Take to ride out to Snowbowl Road together. Climb starts at 5:30.
Tuesday Crit in the SUMMER
5:00PM – CRIT
Meet at Pay N’ Take to ride out to Ft Tuthill for the group crit. Crit starts at 5:30.
