Group Rides around Flagstaff…

There are year-round formal and informal opportunities for mountain and road bike riding in Flagstaff. The following is a list of regular (or semi-regular) group rides, races, annual events or clubs in the Flagstaff area. Please contact the ride leader to confirm ride schedules and meeting places for more details.

Skalawags Mountain Bike Club Rides
The Scalaways (once known as the Coconino Cycling Club) is a non fee e-mail based group of casual, fun loving cyclists. They are a “No Whimper – No Whine” group of pedalers that don’t leave folks behind.

Road Rides

Saturday
9:00AM – Lake Mary Road Ride
Meets at the Pay-n-Take Market on Aspen
Meet at Pay N’ Take for a 65 mile (plus or minus) ride. Route is out on Lake Mary Road and around Mormon Lake. Stops happen at the mailboxes on Lake Mary Road, at the turnoff to Mormon Lake, and at the Mormon Lake Lodge. Fast pace but lots of ability levels.   Must be comfortable riding in a group for this ride.

Saturday
9:30 AM (approximate) – Lake Mary Road Ride
Meet at the Lake Mary Road Mailboxes
As the above ride regroups at the mailboxes, Flagstaff Cycling Club will lead a no-drop ride from the mailboxes.   Contact Everett at 928-607-2548 or email at everett.akam@nau.edu for information.

Mondays
5:00 PM  -  Recovery Road Ride
