About 180 gracious folks joined us June 6th to construct the Flagstaff Loop Trail.. almost a mile…most of Segment 55, Observatory Mesa to Cheshire!
This annual celebration of trails is the biggest event of the year. We had fine weather, great turnout, beautiful trail was built and a great lunch to polish it off! To see photos from this day, go to our IMAGES page here.
Joining us in the festivities this year was partners and many hard working volunteers: Coconino National Forest, Coconino County, City of Flagstaff, Friends of Coconino County Parks, American Conservation Experience, Coconino Rural Environmental Corps, Coconino Trail Riders and Coconino Horsemens Alliance. TO ALL OF YOU A GREAT THANKS!
See here for details and information about the Loop Trail. Our next event on July 11th will return to this stretch of trial, which is a change of plans as easement issues will temporarily postpone work on the I-40/Walnut Cyn. PLEASE make a note of it.
Thanks to our sponsors!
