Pancake Ride and Brunches:

Come join us for our ever popular Summer Fun Rides. As in years past, this includes Pancake Rides and a moonlight ride.  Would you like to see more of these events? Help us form a Fun-Rides Team to help organize and execute these events. Contact FBO!

This year we will maximize your riding pleasure by feeding you the tasty cakes after the group rides. Rides at various ability levels begin at 9:00am. Breakfast will follow @ 11:00am compliments of Flagstaff Biking Organization. Cyclists of all ages and ability levels are welcome.

Annual Father’s Day Kickoff Pancake Ride: June 15th @ Schultz Creek Trail Head

This year, due to popular demand, we’re going to mix it up and have the rides leave at 9am and have the food following, starting at 11am. Much easier to pedal then pancake-up. This event is FREE! Need not be a father to come and join us… but it helps if you’ve had one. (Here’s a map!)

 Giro de La Luna Moonlight Ride: July 18th, Night of the Full Moon

Another Jack and Martin’s Excellent Adventure! Join FBO and our Favorite Fans of the FUTS, Jack Welch and Martin Ince, for moon-light adventures on Flagstaff’s primo Urban Trail System (FUTS). We’ll give the moon a head start… it rises at 8:12 that night, we will meet at the Adult Center at Thorpe Park (245 N Thorpe Rd near Lowell Observatory) and leave by 10 pm, heading northward…past astronomical twilight. We will return by midnight before anyone can turn into a pumpkin…and well before moonset.

 Bring your bike suited up with rear reflector or blinkie, headlight or attachable flashlight, helmet, and reflective or light colored clothing… Questions? Contact Jack Welch.

September Pancake Ride

We will take the summer out with a final Pancake Ride and Brunch. All age groups and rider abilities will ride at 9 AM and follow with a Brunch at 11. Stand by for details.
