On Thursday, February 18th, 2010, from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm, we will be hosting a meeting at 101 West Cherry, 2nd floor meeting room, to facilitate the organization of the “Worksite Challenge” contest details.

There will be other meetings to help set up other aspects of Bike to Work Week, so if helping to run the Worksite Challenge is not your specific interest, stay tuned.

We are looking for folks to volunteer to help with this. We need people willing to spend between 20 and 40 hours (maybe more depending upon which duties…) over the next few months, including during Bike to Work Week, helping with things like:

-Assisting in spreadsheet management and data tabulation
-Contacting potential and past worksites and managing and delivering/distributing Worksite Coordinator informational packets
-Collecting and distributing raffle prizes
-Assisting in writing copy for daily updates and other event collateral
-Assisting in setting up media opportunities at the awarding of the prize bikes for the Challenge winners
-Various and sundry other duties and help
