2020 Flagstaff Bike to Work & School Week – CANCELLED

The Board of Flagstaff Biking Organization regret that we will not be able to promote the 2020 Flagstaff Bike to Work and School Week this May. In light of the uncertainties presented by the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are not comfortable proceeding with the event.  Most Bike to Work and School Week Events depend upon close contact with others: The Bike Bazaar and Swap, Ice Cream Social, Bike

What’s on Tuesday? Bike to School Day! ? Kidical Mass Ride and our famous Ice Cream Social. ? Serving HOT chocolate this year. Meet at 4, Ride starts at 4:15pm, from the corner of Thorpe Rd and Bonito St. Ice Cream Social to follow. Make a T-shirt, eat ice cream and treats, and play bike games. 72 Bike Racks Installed for Flagstaff Schools!

Thanks to our friends at REI, Inc. who granted FBO a $10,000 grant,  Flagstaff Biking Organization was able to provide 72 bike racks at 27 FUSD, charter, and private schools in Flagstaff (see list below), and will help make sure that that every school in Flagstaff has convenient, functional, secure bicycle parking.
