Monday! It’s Officially Flagstaff Bike to Work & School Week!

This morning Flagstaff City Council Member Charlie Odegaard read the City of Flagstaff official Proclamation recognizing May 21st through May 26th, 2017 as Flagstaff Bike to Work Week!~ It’s official!

We honor Bike Advocate Dave Needham! This year we awarded a brick to be placed at Heritage Square to retired Flagstaff Police Department officer David Needham. Dave was to driving force behind having officers trained as League of American Bicyclists certified instructors in order to teach the Flagstaff bicycle traffic infraction deferment program classes. Dave also assisted in other bicycle advocacy and event efforts and was a stellar public servant for decades. Plus, a previous Flagstaff Biking Organization Board member. Thank you Dave!
