September 8-Trail Day on Rocky Ridge Trail
The next trail day is THIS COMING SATURDAY (September 8) at Rocky Ridge Trail, meeting at 9:30 am at the Schultz Trailhead. FBO would love to have kids and adults to come participate. It’s only fair for trail users to give something back and contribute to the upkeep of our wonderful trail system. Just as importantly, working on our trails brings a feeling of pride and involvement that makes hikes and bike rides more enjoyable… especially when you walk or ride a section of trail that you helped build or repair. These volunteer opportunities give everyone an appreciation for the importance and rewards of community service and shows them how much fun it can be! Each FBO trail day includes a free lunch and raffle prizes as well as the chance to spend time with fellow enthusiasts. For Youth Mountain Biking Program kids, FBO has sets of Kenda tires (thanks to the NOVA Youth Cycling Foundation) that kids can earn ONLY by participating in a trail day (five kids have participated in FBO trail days so far this year). Keep up with upcoming trail days at http://flagstaffbiking.org/trail-days/trail-dates/. Contact Mark Gullo at trails@flagstaffbiking.org or call 928-214-0106 for more information.
September 9th-FBO Pancake Ride!
