		<description>Also, on the sharing the trail fairly section, many trails in this area are open to motorcycles, who are meant to yield to other users. Many folks are not aware that they are allowed and are often pretty rude to these guys. They have helped to construct many of the trails on this Forest, and many which are now closed to them. Do please be friendly when you see these guys.</description>

		<description>A very nice article but I think item 3 (Share the trail fairly) needs a bit of clarification. All multi-use trails in our area have a definite order of right of way and bikes are at the bottom of the list. The order of precedence is horses first, hikers second, and bicyclists last. So even if a hiker or a horse may step aside to allow a bike to pass, it is important to remember that they do have the right of way.

I am not sure what the right of way rules are at other places but I suspect they are the same where ever the Forrest Service has jurisdiction.</description>
